Peel the apple and cut it into cubes. Pour it into the pan with 1 tbsp. oil and stir fry for a while. Then pour 1/3 cup water and simmer until they come to a good boil. Then put it in the blender to develop a creamy filling. Put the mixture in the refrigerator to cool.
Add the honey, a pinch of salt and water and mix well. Then, add the glutinous rice flour and mix well. Once there are no signs of flour cover the bowl with a cover/ or plate (safe in the microwave).
Put the mixture in the microwave for 1 minute. Take it out and mix it well. Cover and microwave for another 1 minute. The mixture should have a creamy texture (like ice cream) without any other traces of flour.
Once the mochi is baked, transfer it to a tray lightly sprinkled with tapioca starch (so it doesn't stick). Be careful not to burn, sprinkle your hands with tapioca starch, divide it into 8 parts and fill them with the apple filling and then close them - shape of a ball.
