For me, avocado is not just a “healthy food”; it’s part of my life story. Growing up with a chronic health condition, I couldn’t follow a typical diet during the early years of my life. This meant I wasn’t getting the calories and vitamins my body needed, and as a result, my development wasn’t what it should have been. Nutrition was never something simple or taken for granted. It was a daily challenge.
That’s when avocado entered my life. Mixed into my infant formula, it became a solution, a way for me to receive at least some of the calories and essential nutrients I needed to grow. And it wasn’t temporary. Avocado continued to be part of my milk throughout my entire childhood, supporting me through every stage of development.
Today, as an adult, it returns to my glass in a different yet equally meaningful way. A dairy-free avocado milkshake (made with rice milk), smooth, creamy, and full of energy. It’s not just my breakfast. It’s a quiet reminder of care, resilience, and how something so simple can become a lifelong ally. Some flavors are more than just delicious. They carry stories.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 0,3 L Rice Milk

Instructions
 

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  • Peel the skin from one half of the avocado and store the remaining half in the fridge.
  • Pour 300 ml (0.3 liters) of rice milk into a blender.
  • Cut the peeled avocado into small pieces and add them to the blender.
  • Blend for 6 –10 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
