
Wild Rice with mushrooms and soy cream
Wild Rice: lactose free & Dairy freeI am very excited that although I am a lactose free and dairy free individual, I try eating creamy food with bechamel. The current food combines the wild rice, soy cream sauce and leek giving a tastyful meal that no one can resist. I hope everyone will enjoy it!
Ingredients
- 1 cup wild rice
- 1/4 leek
- 1/3 cup white mashrooms
- 140 ml soy cream – gluten free
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml water
- 3 cup water – for boiling rice
- 1 white onion
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of rice into a saucepan and 3 cups water and let the rice boil for 25 – 30 minutes. Then Leave it to the side to cool.
- In a pan, pour 2 tbsp. olive oil, saute the onion and leek.
- When the mushrooms turn brown, pour the boiled rice into the pan and mix everything together. Add some water and the soy cream and mix until the sauce binds with the rest of the ingredients.
Notes
The recipe does not contain any spices and acids. However, anyone who wishes, can add spices and acids (i.e lemon juice) of their liking.
